Vaccine now available to essential workers under 60

April 20, 2021

Workers under the age of 60 in Gaspésie providing essential services are now eligible for vaccination against COVID-19.

Workers must occupy a position that puts their health at risk because of the many contacts they have with individuals who could transmit the virus to them.

According to Johanne Méthot of the regional health board, workers can make an appointment on Clic Santé.

In the event that there is no longer a time slot available, Ms. Méthot ensures that it has lists to reach those who have not succeeded in registering.

The Clic Santé reservation system also allows registrations to be filtered to ensure that people are truly essential workers. Public health has also started vaccination in adults under the age of 60 who have health problems or chronic illness.
